The third and final SOB training run will be Saturday, Jue 19 at 9:00 AM. We'll meet at the Mt. Ashland Lodge around 8:45 AM and hit the trails at 9:00 AM.
We will have two distance options available. The first option will be approximately 7 miles and cover much of the 15k racecourse. The second, longer option will be a 20-mile loop incorporating both the Split Rock and Time Warp trails! Time Warp is normally closed to foot travel so this is the best and maybe the only time to get on this climb before race day arrives! For 50k-100k runners this route can be a fantastic final big long-run effort. We plan to have limited flagging marking the courses as well. These runs will NOT have aid stations, though the 20-mile route does cross a major creek a little over halfway in which you can filter to refill your water.
Runners will finish throughout the morning and early afternoon. People from the SOB race, Trails and Tarmac, and Woodlands Running Co. will be at the finish hanging out with some refreshments for you until everyone is off the course.
